Mary Mayville Mooney, CPA

MANAGING PARTNER, CEO

 

Mary has 20+ years accounting and operations experience with small businesses. She started her career at Deloitte and Touché and spent  twelve years in public accounting, as an auditor and a senior tax manager. Mary has a strong technical accounting background and broad experience in every facet of a business organization. She transitioned to the private sector primarily to assist small businesses manage exponential growth. She specializes in coaching CEOs, strategic planning (tax and business) and improving operational processes to resolve the challenges small businesses face as they grow. 

 

Mary has extensive experience working with small, closely held businesses in a broad range of industries primarily within the professional services, construction, and manufacturing areas.  

 

Mary is a licensed CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.  She is an empty nester who lives in North Carolina with her husband. Together they enjoy traveling across the United States to find hidden treasures in other states.

 

Nicole Nickell, EA

MANAGING PARTNER - TAX SERVICES

 

Nicole has extensive experience working with a variety of clients, with a primary concentration of serving client groups including family owned business, closely held partnerships, S corporations and C corporations.  She specializes in small businesses with a concentration in closely held businesses and their owners.  Nicole’s expertise with these clients ranges from the areas of tax compliance, structure and planning to general business advisory and consulting services.  She provides guidance to clients on complex tax issues through technical application as well as practical solutions, allowing business owners to focus on what they do best.  Nicole has a passion for working with small businesses, optimizing strategic planning and process improvement practices to help guide them to meet their future financial goals.  

 

Nicole is an Enrolled Agent (EA).  She graduated from West Texas A&M University, where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree.  She is also a graduate of Longwood University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

 

Nicole lives in Hampton Roads Virginia with her husband Ryan and two children.

 

Colleen Kamolnik

MANAGING PARTNER - ACCOUNTING SERVICES
 

Colleen Kamolnik has been in accounting since 2001, beginning her career in an Accounting & Tax Firm before joining the automotive industry as a Controller.

 

Colleen has extensive experience working with multiple clients, e-commerce businesses, various types of real estate companies, SaaS, and service based businesses.  In addition to providing accounting services, she has also been involved in the firm’s transactional services, she has been a key player in mergers and acquisitions including due diligence on the buy side in previous roles.

 

In addition to being a QBO Certified Proadvisor, Gusto People Advisory Certified, Colleen is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina since 2005.

 

Colleen graduated from North Carolina State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance.

 

Colleen lives outside of Charlotte, NC with her husband Rick and two children.
